Getting Started with WaaiBot
Your guide to automating conversations.
If you're a new user, your first step is to activate your 7-day free trial from the dashboard.
Go to Dashboard to Activate →- From the Dashboard, click the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Enter the WhatsApp number you want to connect (including country code) and click "Send TPIN".
- You will receive a 6-digit verification code on that number. Enter the TPIN and a name for your device, then click "Add Device".
- You will be taken to the Device Management page. In the "Connection Status" card, you have two options:
- Click "Initialize (QR Code)" and scan the code with your phone's WhatsApp app (in Settings > Linked Devices).
- Click "Link with Phone Number" to receive a code to type into your phone instead.
- Wait for the status indicator in the header to show "Connected".
Workflows are the brains of your chatbot. Go to the Workflows page and click the '+' icon to create a new one. You can build your conversational flow using the visual editor.
A workflow must be assigned to a device to function. On the Device Management page for your connected device, find the "Assigned Workflows" card and click the '+' icon to select and assign the workflow you created.
- Go to the Integrations page.
- Click "Manage" on the Web Widgets card.
- Create a new widget (e.g., "Main Website").
- Assign a workflow to handle incoming chats.
- Go to the Installation tab to copy the script for your website or get a direct chat link to share with customers.
You can send messages in two ways:
- From the Portal: On the Device Management page, use the "Send Test Message" card.
- Via the API: Use the "API Information" card on the Device Management page to get your API key and usage instructions.
